Bighorn River conditions as of November 4, 2020. Current flows are in the 2500 cfs area and unfortunately didn’t have my thermometer so am not quite sure what that was. As you can see from the video water conditions are not prime with visibility from 12-18″. Quite a bit of floating grass which makes streamer fishing challenging. Streamer fishing though is your best bet. Most productive patterns are bright and large. Bighorn Specials, Bighorn Bugger or White Zonkers in size 2. Dry fly fishing at this time is not much of an option. Nymphing has been fair with mostly Orange or Red Beadhead Sowbugs or Scuds in larger sizes as well. Either 12 or 14’s. Tight Lines!
